Crowns & Tooth Colored Fillings
At Small to Tall Pediatric Dentistry we prefer to use directly-bonded, tooth-colored resin fillings whenever possible. The bond between tooth and filling helps to prevent a recurrent cavity from forming and the filling is more esthetically pleasing to the family. If a cavity is large or a tooth is fractured a crown may be necessary. When possible and always for anterior teeth, we prefer to address this with tooth-colored crowns that make the teeth look new again.
