Debbie -Business Manager
Debbie grew up in western Washington, graduating from Elma High School. Married to her high school sweetheart since 1978, Debbie and Dale raised two grown sons who live in the area. Debbie and her husband enjoy bowling and traveling, especially on their motorbikes. Debbie has earned her Fellowship in the American Academy of Dental Office Managers. She has been with the pediatric dental practice since 1994.
Kara – Accounts Manager
A huge Seattle Seahawks fan, Kara also enjoys watching her kids – Kaelyn, Natalie and Tyler – play football and soccer. When not cheering for her favorite team, Kara also bakes fun cakes. A graduate of South Bend High School and Clover Park Technical College, Kara has been with the practice since 2000, spending seven years as a dental assistant before moving into the financial coordinator role. “It warms my heart to have a patient, who was initially nervous about treatment, stop back in my office with a big smile to tell me how well the appointment went,” describes Kara.
Dezaray – Administrative Coordinator
Dezaray is a busy mom to four kids – Chazen, Kaylee Jo, Dalyne and Reanna – with her husband, Andy. With the practice since 2004, Dezaray has worked as both a dental assistant and at the front desk. A Montesano High School and South Puget Sound Community College graduate, Dezaray enjoys the enthusiasm of kids and the variety it brings to her day. When not at work, Dezaray loves watching her children play sports and spending time with her friends and family.
Amanda enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and traveling. A graduate of Concorde Career Institute in Portland, Amanda says “working with kids puts a smile on my face and makes every day fun.” Amanda is married to Tahyn and is raising their son, Cooper. She is originally from Tenino.
Heather – Scheduling Coordinator
Heather is married to high school sweetheart, Wylie. She has two boys – Cody and Austin – and a little dog, Hunter. Heather enjoys baking, photography, and watching her boys play baseball and soccer. Her family enjoys the outdoors, including hunting together. Originally from the Yakima Valley, Heather has been with Small to Tall Pediatric Dentistry since 2014.
Tiffany -Lead Dental Assistant
Tiffany grew up in Packwood, graduated from White Pass High School and attended Clover Park Technical College. Tiffany and her husband, Josh, have two sons, Braden and Austin. Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She likes working with kids because they tell funny stories and she values getting to see them grow up in the practice. She especially enjoys treating children with special needs.
Jessica – Dental Assistant
Jessica has been with the practice since June 2008, and says she likes being able to give her patients a positive dental experience. She graduated from Clover Park Technical College and is a Registered Dental Assistant. She also holds her Manicurist License from Quality Beauty College. Jessica and her husband, Billy, have two sons, Parker and Tucker. She loves spending time with her family, especially outdoors or in the sunshine. Jessica has an identical twin sister who is also a dental assistant.
Megan – Dental Assistant
Megan and her husband, Matt, have two sons, Tanner and William . The family also has a miniature schnauzer named Mac. Megan graduated from Olympia High School before attending South Puget Sound Community College. She enjoys dancing, skiing riding dirt bikes, baseball and reading. She says that working with kids is very rewarding. “I love teaching and creating positive experience. There’s never a dull moment.”
Taryn- Dental Assistant
A graduate of Elma High School and South Puget Sound Community College, Taryn joined the Small to Tall team in 2017. Taryn finds working with kids to be exciting and interesting. “It’s rewarding to make a positive impact in their lives,” she said. Taryn and her boyfriend Garrett have a dog named Oscar . When not at work, you can find Taryn bowling, hiking, kayaking or spending the weekend at the race track.
Dental Assistant Amanda and her husband, Trevin, have two daughters – Kailynn and Vayda. During her free time, Amanda enjoys crafting, wallyball and spending time with family and friends. “Kids always find a way to make me laugh,” says Amanda who grew up in Bonney Lake and graduated from South Puget Sound Community College. “I love being a part of creating a positive dental experience.”
Carmell – Dental Assistant
Carmell grew up in Hoquiam, attended Hoquiam High School and Bates Technical College. She feels that working with kids is such a rewarding job because they are fun, exciting, energetic and honest. Outside of work, Carmell loves spending time with her husband, son and daughter. Whenever possible, they enjoy outdoor activities, going on vacations, having adventures, but most of all, having fun. Carmell’s motto is “life is short, so have fun and enjoy.”
Taylor – Dental Assistant
Born and raised in Olympia, Taylor graduated from Black Hills High School and South Puget Sound Community College. Taylor was even a previous patient, as a child. “Kids make my day brighter,” says Taylor who grew up in an in-home childcare with 12 kids. Taylor and her boyfriend, Chris, have one dog, Wrigley.
Allie – Dental Assistant
With a parent in the military, Allie graduated from high school in Colorado Springs and then attended Pima Medical Institute. She is married to Derek and together they have a dog named Arlo. Allie, who joined the team in 2018, loves animals, baking, shopping and spending time with her family. “Kids keep you young, teach you patience and make work fun! I admire their endless energy and honesty, ” Allie said.
Brittani – Dental Assistant
A fan of “all things Disney”, Brittani grew up in Tacoma and attended Franklin Pierce High School before graduating from Clover Park Technical College. When not helping kids have a positive experience at the dentist, Brittani enjoys going to the lake and hiking.
Nicole – Dental Assistant
When the weather is nice, you can likely find Nicole outdoors. A graduate of Aberdeen High School, Nicole got her dental assisting training in Arizona before moving back to Western Washington. “I love my job as a pediatric dental assistant because I enjoy being a part of a positive experience for kids,” she says. Nicole joined the team in 2015.
Alycia – Dental Assistant
Alycia loves being on her boat during the summer. “If it could be summer all year, I would be perfectly fine,” says the graduate of Washington State University (Go Cougs!). Alycia is also a graduate of West Coast College of Dental Assisting and loves when kids are excited for a dental visit. Alycia lives with her two black labs, Lincoln and Karona.
Morgan- Dental Assistant
Morgan and her boyfriend Colby live with a small Shih Tzu named Axel. The Rainier High School and Clover Park Technical College graduate joined Small to Tall in 2018. “I love giving kids a positive and fun experience that makes them want to come back,” she said. “It’s really awesome to work at the same office where I was a patient as a kid. It gives me the opportunity to give kids a great dental experience, just like I always had growing up.” Outside of work, Morgan enjoys watching Colby ride motorcross and spending time with her family and friends.
Alyssa joined the practice in 2017 after graduating from Eastern Washington University with a bachelors of science in dental hygiene. She grew up on Lake Cushman, attending Shelton High School. She learned to love dentistry as a pediatric dental patient. Alyssa enjoys to crochet as well complete other crafts. Ask Alyssa about her adopted cross-eyed chocolate lab named Tulip. She loves to go on hikes with her dog.
