She completed a general practice dentistry residency at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon in 2000. After enjoying teaching in academics and working as a general dentist for 7 years, she pursued her specialty in pediatric dentistry from Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. She has practiced at the University of Pennsylvania Faculty Department and in private and community settings as a pediatric dentist since 2009. Dr. Shavron is a Board Certified pediatric dentist. She is a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

On the days that Dr. Shavron is not chasing sugar bugs, you can find her busy chasing her three kids and husband around! Although these days her time is filled with balancing family and work, she does find time to maintain and challenge herself with new opportunities. She enjoys tennis, knitting, fishing and recently found golf to be a great hobby. She occasionally volunteers at the school and church. She has served as a Level I catechist  for The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd at St. Michael’s parish. She participated in the Chilkat International Bike Relay years back that took her from Haines Junction to Haines, Alaska.

Olympia is home to her and her family and she looks forward to creating wonderful relationships with all of her patients and their parents.
