Dr. Daniel Walsh

Dr. Daniel Walsh was born and raised in Olympia, WA. He attended Saint Martin’s University and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2009 and his D.M.D from Oregon Health & Science University in 2013. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Walsh pursued additional training in Boise, Idaho and earned an Advanced Education in General Dentistry certificate. He practiced for an additional six years treating children and adults in the South Sound region prior to deciding to focus on specializing in pediatric dentistry. He graduated from the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital Pediatric Dentistry program (just like Dr. Rowley and Dr. Callender), where he also held the position of Chief Resident.
As a provider, Dr. Walsh likes to help children feel empowered and special when visiting the dentist. He has a particular interest in caring for children with special healthcare needs. In his free time, he enjoys volunteering, working on research, and being a part of the Thurston-Mason County Dental Society and Evergreen Pediatric Dental Study Club based out of Seattle. His research, which is focused on quality improvement and treatment of dental emergencies, was also recently accepted for publishing in Pediatric Dentistry, recognized internationally as one of the leading journals in pediatric dental research.
Dr. Walsh has been with his wife, Amanda, since high school and they have two boys. His children are very energetic and his family is always on the go. They love hiking, visiting their family cabin on Lake Cushman, boating, going on road trips, gardening, and spending time with family in the area. He looks forward to meeting your family!
